Marking the first award for both Group Travel and Corporate Social Responsibility for the Company
NORWOOD, Mass. – April 25, 2022 – HMI Performance Incentives, a global leader in B2B incentive solutions, is honored to accept its first ever group incentive travel award from the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) Crystal Awards. HMI received the award in the category Most Impactful Effort Toward Corporate Social Responsibility as Part of an Incentive Program.
The travel program was run in partnership with client Manning Building Supplies at the Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino with onsite ground services provided by De Palm Tours. Manning was looking for a way to connect with their loyal customers after a year of not being able to travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Both HMI and Manning donated funds to FPNC (a food bank in Aruba) to provide 40 families in Aruba with a month’s worth of non-perishable food and hygiene supplies. During the trip, attendees had the opportunity to package up the supplies at the resort for distribution to the families back at the food bank. Many of the attendees expressed an emotional connection to this part of the trip in particular.
When reflecting on the trip, Manning Building Supplies’ President Jimmy Cissel said, “We brought 300 people as part of this group and the feedback I’ve received so far has been flawless. It’s been absolutely phenomenal. We’ve done 30 of these trips. We do one every year, and this is the first time I have not received one complaint.” Cissel later went on to say that, “In the last 30 years of running incentive trips, this was the most successful and memorable one we’ve done.”
