What is SOC 2 Type II?

System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 is a set of criteria designed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) to safeguard customer data. It is considered the highest standard of data security and protection.

SOC 2 Type II has a rigorous testing and auditing process which seeks to protect users from data breach and malpractice, maintaining that all data is secure and processed with confidentiality.

What does this mean for you?

By passing the SOC 2 Type II audit, HMI Performance Incentives has proven its ability to secure its data and information environments. HMI’s processes, procedures, and policies that are in place to protect its clients’ and their customers’ data are secure.

Platform Access

The OnDemand Engagement Platform has advanced fraud and monitoring tools that HMI staff use regularly to review program authentication. The Engagement Platform also has Two Factor Authentication (2FA), which helps to protect against unauthorized access to accounts and sensitive information.

Supplier and Staff Management

HMI Performance Incentives performs background checks on all staff that have access to client information. Security awareness training is delivered to all new hires and security awareness checks are performed regularly.
